Parliament, Thursday, 18 June 2020 – The Portfolio Committee on Transport will tomorrow visit various taxi ranks in Gauteng to oversee their readiness for the implementation of the eased level 3 lockdown regulations.
The Chairperson of the committee, Mr Mosebenzi Zwane, will lead the committee’s delegation in Gauteng and among the taxi ranks to be visited are Bree Taxi Rank, MTN Noord, Germiston and Chris Hani Baragwanath Taxi Ranks.
The Cape Town component of the committee will visit the Site C taxi rank, Nyanga and Bellville bus terminuses and the Cape Town International Airport.
