Parliament, Tuesday 18 June 2019 - Parliament is hosting the State of the Nation Address (SONA) by President Cyril Ramaphosa on 20 June 2019 at 19.00. Rehearsals for the Address will take place on Tuesday 18 June and Wednesday 19 June 2019 at Parliament.

DETAILS FOR REHEARSALS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

  • 18 June 2019 (17:00 to 20:00)
  • 19 June 2019 (17:00 to 20:00)

Due to SONA and associated preparations, a number of roads will be closed to normal traffic temporarily at various times between 18 to 20 June 2019. Affected streets and the applicable times have been advertised widely on radio and in the Western Cape daily newspapers to advise road users about the road closures.
