Parliament Friday, 06 February 2015 - The list of media accredited to cover the State of the Nation Address on 12 February 2015 has been published on Parliament's website www.parliament.gov.za
COLLECTION OF ACCREDITATION (ACCREDITED MEDIA ONLY)
All media will be issued with photo-accreditation and it will be available for collection as follows:
PARLIAMENT
- (5 - 11 FEBRUARY): Collection of tags to open from 5 to 11 February in Parliament (Committee Room 2, Ground Floor, 120 Plein Building) from 08:00 to 18:00. Media personnel are encouraged to collect their accreditation to avoid long queues on the day of the State of the Nation Address. Saturday and Sunday included.
CAPE TOWN CITY HALL/OLD LIBRARY (12 FEBRUARY): Collection of tags on 12 February 2015 will be conducted at the City Hall in Parade Street (signage will be available) from 06:00 to 13:00.
- NB: No accreditation will be available in Parliament on the 12th of February 2015.
- Broadcasters who need to be on air by 6am on 12 February 2015 must collect their accreditation the day before (11 February 2015) as no accreditation will be available before 6am at the City Hall on 12 February 2015. The Flame of Remembrance entrance will open from 4am to allow access for accredited broadcasters with their accreditation tags displayed for entry.
- Media personnel should collect their accreditation in person and present their identification documents (identity document, or passport), for the collection of accreditation tags and sign upon receipt of accreditation tags.
- All accredited media with accreditation tags (collected at the City Hall), will enter Parliament through the Flame of Remembrance entrance in Plein Street on 12 February 2015.
NB:
- Only accredited media who appear on the list posted on the Parliament website will be processed.
- Please keep your accreditation tag in a safe place as no reprinting will be done.
- Please note that accreditation is strictly non transferable
