Rehearsals, Parking Restrictions and Road Closures: State of the Nation Address June 2014

Parliament, Friday 13 June 2013 - Parliament is hosting the State of the Nation Address by President Jacob Zuma at 19.00 on Tuesday, 17 June 2014. Rehearsals for the Address will take place tomorrow, Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 June 2014 - Sunday's rehearsals will take place at the real time of the State of the Nation Address.

DETAILS FOR REHEARSALS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

14 June 2014 (17:00 to 20:00)

15 June 2014 (17:30 to 20:00)

Members of the media are invited to the rehearsals.

To accommodate this Ceremony of State, a number of roads will be closed to normal traffic temporarily between 14 and 17 June. Affected streets and the applicable times have been advertised widely on radio and in the Western Cape daily newspapers to advise road users about the road closures.

Parliament apologises for any inconvenience caused to members of the public by the road closures.
