Parliament, Wednesday, 13 September 2017 – The Portfolio Committee on Public Works will tomorrow (14 September 2017) visit West Bank Correctional Centre and the Eastern Cape Disability Empower Trust’s supported project in Thembalethu, Mdantsane.
Tomorrow will be the fourth day since the Committee has embarked on a week-long oversight visit in the province.
The purpose of the oversight is to gather information on the manner in which the department and regional and local offices of government entities reporting to the Minister of Public Works deliver according to their annual performance and strategic plans, as approved by Parliament.
