Parliament, Thursday, 10 October 2024 - The Presiding Officers of Parliament, National Assembly Speaker Ms Thoko Didiza and National Council of Provinces Chairperson Ms Refilwe Mtsweni-Tsipane, express their profound sorrow over the passing of Pastor Ray McCauley, the revereed founder of Rhema Bible Church and an outstanding evangelical leader.
Pastor McCauley was not only a spiritual father to his church, he was also a people's pastor whose unwavering commitment to the principles of unity, justice, democracy, and peace contributed to the attainment of a free society we have today.
The Presiding Officers extend their deepest condolences to Pastor McCauley’s family, friends, and the entire Rhema Church community during this difficult time.
