Parliament, Thursday, 17 September 2020 – The National Council of Provinces Deputy Chairperson Ms Sylvia Lucas and the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr Lechesa Tsenoli, will tomorrow, Friday, 18 September, hold a virtual High-Level engagement with the Limpopo provincial leadership on the 1994 Women’s Charter Review.

The 1994 Women’s Charter Review sessions are aimed at taking stock of the progress made in implementing the articles of the 1994 Women’s Charter for Effective Equality and assess its impact since the advent of freedom and democracy.

Deputy Chairperson Lucas and Deputy Speaker Tsenoli will host this session to report back to the Limpopo provincial and local government leadership on feedback received following engagements with stakeholders from various Districts in the province.
