Parliament, Monday 15 February 2016 - Parliament will host the Electoral Commission's handover ceremony of the 2014 Atlas of National and Provincial Election Results on Tuesday, 16 February.
The information embodied in the 2014 Atlas of results is believed to be critical for political planning ahead of the upcoming municipal elections, as it illustrates the geographic basis of election results, as well as the demographics of voters who participated in the elections.
Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr Lechesa Tsenoli, will lead the Parliament delegation that will accept the Atlas.
The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Mr Glen Mashinini, will present and handover the 2014 National and Provincial Results Atlas to a representative of the Presidency and leaders of political parties in Parliament on Tuesday.
