NCOP HOSTS LOCAL GOVERNMENT WEEK 2020
Parliament, Monday, 7 September 2020 – The National Council of Provinces (NCOP) will from tomorrow, 8 to 11 September host a virtual Local Government Week (#LGW2020).
This year’s #LGW2020 programme, to be held under the theme “Ensuring capable and Financially Sound Municipalities,” will focus mainly on how the national and provincial spheres of government intend to assist the local sphere of government in improving service delivery, financial management, and governance.
