Free State, Wednesday 29 August 2018 – Two groups of permanent delegates to the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) based in Mangaung as part of Taking Parliament to the People programme will visit Grootvlei Correctional Centre and Pelonomi Hospital tomorrow.

The delegates, who are divided into eight groups across Mangaung Metropolitan and Xhariep District Municipalities, are this week revisiting the Free State to report back on progress made regarding undertakings taken during last year’s Taking Parliament to the People programme. This flagship programme of the NCOP brings together all three levels of government in one place to meet face to face with local communities to identify challenges and find solutions.

The site visits will be held as follows:

Venue: Pelonomi Hospital Complex in Heidedal, Bloemfontein
