Parliament, Monday, 6 July 2020 - The National Council of Provinces (NCOP) will tomorrow receive a briefing from the Minister of Human Settlement, Water and Sanitation Ms Lindiwe Sisulu on progress made on measures to provide Water and Sanitation, and address Human Settlements related challenges in response to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Minister Sisulu’s department plays an important role in preventing the spread of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) through the provision of water and sanitation to enable the upholding of basic hygiene. The Ministerial Briefing will give Permanent Delegates to the NCOP an insight on the direction Human Settlement, Water and Sanitation is heading as far as the fight against COVID-19 is concerned.
