Parliament, Thursday 19 October 2017 - The Minister of Finance Mr Malusi Gigaba will present the Medium Term Budget Policy Statement (MTBPS) to Parliament on Wednesday, 25 October 2017 at 14.00.
Journalists who are not part of the lock-up that precedes delivery of the MTBPS to Parliament and wish to cover the MTBPS to Parliament, or wish to broadcast from the Parliamentary precinct are required to send their details to Mlindi Mpindi on 021-403 2340 or 073 197 1315 or at mmpindi@parliament.gov.za and copy mntsodo@parliament.gov.za by Monday, 23 October 2017.
Details required are: Full names, ID/passport numbers, name of media organisation, designation (writer, photographer, for example), telephone numbers, and cell phone numbers.
Media wishing to broadcast from the Parliamentary precinct should also provide:
Make of vehicle(s), registration number(s), number(s) of vehicles, other equipment and time of arrival.

Documentation related to the MTBPS will be available on the National Treasury website (www.treasury.gov.za) when the Minister starts his address to Parliament, at around 14.00.
The MTBPS will be broadcast live on Parliament’s DSTV Channel 408 and will also be streamed live on the Parliament of RSA YouTube account.
