Parliament, Tuesday, 3 October 2017 – The Portfolio Committee on Mineral Resources will tomorrow (4 October 2017) be briefed by the Council for Geosciences (CGS), Mintek, State Diamond Trader (SDT) and South African Diamond and Precious Metals Regulator (SADPMR) on their annual reports for 2016/17 financial year.
The scrutiny of the department and entities is part of the Committee’s oversight work to assess their performance with reference to medium term estimates. It a process that leads to preparation of the Budget Review and Recommendation Report (BRRR).
