Parliament, Monday, 24 November 2025 – The Standing Committee on Public Accounts (SCOPA) is entering the eighth week of its enquiry into the financial affairs of the Road Accident Fund (RAF) this week and will receive testimony from the former members of the RAF Board.

The committee has reserved Tuesday, 25 November 2025, for the appearance of the RAF former CEO, Mr Collins Letsoalo. Parliament has issued summons for the appearance of Mr Letsoalo for Tuesday. If he doesn’t appear, the committee will deliberate and resolve on the next steps.

The enquiry continues on Thursday, 27 November 2025, when former RAF Board members will appear before the committee. Several of them were named during testimonies by previous witnesses, raising questions about governance lapses and decision-making during their tenure. The former Board members expected to appear include Ms Lorraine Francois, Ms Thembelihle Msibi, Mr Lekau Moses Nyama, and Dr Nomonde Mabuya-Moloele.

All documents presented to the committee during the enquiry are made publicly available after each day’s session at this link: https://www.parliament.gov.za/raf-enquiry.
