Parliament, Tuesday, 14 July 2026 – The Chairperson of the Impeachment Committee on Section 89 Enquiry, Mr Makashule Gana will be attending the court hearing at the Western Cape High Court on Wednesday and Thursday this week, in connection with the urgent interdict brought by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
Mr Gana has been cited as the Second Respondent in his capacity as Chairperson of the Impeachment Committee. The urgent application forms part of the ongoing legal process relating to the Section 89 impeachment enquiry currently before Parliament.
