Parliament, Friday, 3 October 2025 – The Ad Hoc Committee to Investigate Allegations made by the South African Police Service (SAPS) KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, today confirmed that all systems are in place for the start of next week’s hearings.
The committee is on track to begin the hearings with its first witness, Lt. Gen. Mkhwanazi, on Tuesday, 7 October, in Parliament. Later next week, the committee is expected to hear from the National Police Commissioner, Lt Gen Fannie Masemola.
