Parliament, Thursday, 2 November 2023 – In its first meeting since the resolution of the National Assembly to establish the Ad Hoc Committee on the General Intelligence Laws Amendment Bill, the committee elected Mr Jerome Maake as its Chairperson.
The committee is constituted by the following Members of Parliament: The African National Congress - Mr Jerome Maake, Ms Doris Dlakude, Mr Gratitude Magwanishe, Mr Bheki Hadebe, Mr Dikgang Stock, Ms Lusizo Makhubela-Mashele. Mr Cyril Xaba and Mr Thabo Mmutle as alternate members.
The Democratic Alliance - Ms Dianne Kohler Barnard and Mr Dirk Stubbe. The Congress of the People - Mr Teboho Loate and Al Jama-Ah - Mr Ganief Hendricks.
