Parliament, Monday 9 February 2014 - Please note that the venue for the media briefing on the State of the Nation Address by Parliament's Presiding Officers has changed. The briefing will take place as follows:
DATE: TUESDAY, 10 FEBRUARY
TIME: 10.00 - 11.00
VENUE: E249, 2ND FLOOR, NATIONAL ASSEMBLY CHAMBER BUILDING PARLIAMENT
At the briefing, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Baleka Mbete, and the Chairperson of the National Council of Provinces, Thandi Modise, together with their deputies, will provide details about Parliament's hosting of the 2015 State of the Nation Address.
Details to be provided will include:
- Format and highlights of the ceremony
- Public participants in the ceremony
- Guests expected to attend
- Engagement by Parliament with the State of the Nation Address after 12 February

Media wishing to attend, who do not have Parliamentary media access permits, must, when they RSVP, provide the following details:
- Full name, as it appears on ID or passport

- Email address
