Parliament, Monday, 6 October 2025 – The Portfolio Committee on Small Business Development will, from tomorrow, 7 October, embark on a four-day oversight visit to Free State, visiting projects funded by the Department of Small Business Development and the Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDFA).
Following the money, the committee will visit some projects funded under the direct and wholesale landing programmes as well as the crafters support and cooperatives development support programmes in Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality, Thabo Mofutsanyana, Lejweleputswa and Fezile Dabi districts.
Oversight visit programme is as follows:
- Kim Travel Consultants, K2013124069 (Pty) Ltd and JCL Farming in Bloemfontein.
- Phoka Coffee in Phuthaditjhaba, Bolata Pottary Co-operative, Lerata Bonolo Manufacturing and Reikamohetse As For The Blind in Qwaqwa.
- Moumo (Pty) Ltd and KS Group (Pty) Ltd in Welkom as well as Mr Ntatenyana Taje and four spaza shops in Hertzogville.
- Buhlebenkosi Agri-Production (Pty) Ltd and Dihwai Di Kopane Primary Co-operative in Sasolburg as well as JennyMos in Kroonstad.
