Parliament, Tuesday, 13 October 2026 – The Portfolio Committee on Land Reform and Rural Development will tomorrow receive briefings from the Commission for Gender Equality (CGE) on its Report on the Traditional Land Allocation Practices in the North West.
This will be followed by a Report on the Barriers to Women’s Access to Communal Land in the Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga and Northern Cape.
Thereafter, the committee will also hear the CGE's reports on barriers to women’s access to communal land in selected provinces of South Africa and on women in the South African Economy.
