Parliament, Wednesday, 20 November 2024 – The Portfolio Committee on Justice and Constitutional Development will tomorrow conduct interviews with two more candidates to fill a vacancy of Deputy Chairperson on the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC). The candidates are current commissioners at the SAHRC. The committee interviewed seven candidates yesterday. The position became vacant after then Deputy Chairperson of SAHRC, Ms Fatima Cohen, resigned.
