Parliament, Monday, 18 November 2024 – The Portfolio Committee on Justice and Constitutional Development will tomorrow conduct interviews with seven candidates to fill a vacancy on the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC). The committee received a total of 46 applications and nominations. The position became vacant after then Deputy Chairperson of SAHRC, Ms Fatima Cohen resigned.
