Parliament, Tuesday, 18 August 2026 – The Impeachment Committee for Section 89 Enquiry will meet tomorrow to deliberate further on the draft terms of reference that will guide the committee’s work.
Parliament’s Legal Services Office has been working on cleaning up the terms of reference and ensuring consistent use of language throughout the document. The committee will consider any final inputs from Members before the document itself is finalised.
Also on the agenda is an update on the appointment of the recommended evidence leader, Adv Thandazani Madonsela SC.
