Parliament, Tuesday, 13 October 2026 – The Standing Committee on Finance will tomorrow, Wednesday, 14 October 2026, get responses from National Treasury and the South African Revenue Services on submissions received by the committee on the draft Taxation Laws Amendment Bill, Tax Administration Laws Amendment Bill, and Rates & Monetary Amounts & Amendment of Revenue Laws Bill.
The committee will also afford an opportunity for comments by stakeholders who participated in the public hearings of 30 September 2026.
They are the South African Institute of Taxation, South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, PKF, Alternative Information Development Centre, Vaping Saved My Life, British American Tobacco South Africa, the South African Liquor Band Association, Wine SA, South African Breweries, and Ms Keitumetse Sesana.
