Parliament, Tuesday, 3 December 2024 – The Portfolio Committee on Communications and Digital Technologies will tomorrow, 4 December 2024, deliberate and consider the recommendations of the subcommittee on the appointment of suitable candidates for the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) Council. The committee’s meeting will be held on a virtual platform.
The committee will then adopt a report recommending candidates for appointment to fill four vacancies on the Council and, once adopted, the report will be tabled in the National Assembly for further consideration and adoption.
