Parliament, Wednesday, 15 July 2026 – The Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Communications and Digital Technologies, Ms Khusela Sangoni Diko, will tomorrow (Thursday, 16 July) deliver the keynote address at the strategic Cybersecurity and Future of Work Thought Leadership Seminar organised by the Tshwane University of Technology’s (TUT) Institute for the Future of Work (IFOW).

Ms Diko’s address will focus on Parliament's legislative and oversight role in strengthening South Africa’s cybersecurity ecosystem while fostering digital trust, innovation and inclusive economic development. She will be focusing on the theme “The Role of Parliament in Strengthening South Africa’s Cyber Resilience: Advancing Digital Trust, Security, and Inclusive Economic Growth”.

TUT’s IFOW is a leading centre for advancing research and shaping discourse on the changing world of work. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, the institute examines the intersection of technology, public policy and education to generate evidence-based insights that promote inclusive, sustainable and innovative workplaces and prepare society for the future of work.
