Parliament, Monday, 18 November 2024 – The Portfolio Committee on Women, Youth and Persons With Disabilities will tomorrow be briefed by the Office on Institutions Supporting Democracy on the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) legal opinion and selection criteria. In addition, the Content Advisor will brief the committee on the recruitment process of the NYDA Board and overview of the applications received.
Furthermore, the committee will receive feedback on the Sanitary Dignity Programme. This is subsequent to a meeting the committee had in which the Department of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities presented information on the programme. At the conclusion of the meeting, committee members asked the department to provide additional information relating to the programme.
