Parliament, Monday, 30 January 2023 – The Portfolio Committee on International Relations and Cooperation will tomorrow visit the State Protocol Lounge at King Shaka Airport. The visit to the lounge is part of the committee’s week-long oversight visit programme to conduct physical inspection on the facilities and premises of the Diplomatic Academy of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation.
The committee wishes to conduct oversight on one of the said premises, the State Protocol Lounge at King Shaka International Airport, to ascertain that the facilities are adequate for their purposes and that contingency measures are in place to cater for the expected and unexpected high volumes of dignitaries that will be accessing these facilities.
