Parliament, Thursday, 20 May 2021 – The Portfolio Committee on Public Works and Infrastructure will tomorrow conduct public hearings on the Expropriation Bill in Ulundi Local Municipality in the Zululand District.

The committee is in the KwaZulu Nata Province till Sunday 23 May, to afford the people of the province an opportunity to express their views on the Expropriation Bill.

The Expropriation Bill seeks, among other things, to provide for the expropriation of property for public purposes or in the public interest and provide for certain instances where expropriation without compensation may be appropriate.
