Parliament, Monday, 24 August 2026 – The Standing Committee on Appropriations will tomorrow receive a briefing from the Department of International Relations and Cooperation on plans to recoup around R1.4 billion debt owed to South Africa by foreign countries.
The committee will also get an update on progress made in the repatriation of funds owed to the South African Airways by Zimbabwe and how the department plans to strengthen South Africa`s sovereignty at a global level.
