Parliament, Sunday, 2 May 2021 – The Portfolio Committee on Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (Cogta) will tomorrow embark on a weeklong oversight programme to the North West Province to assess, among other things, the state of service delivery in the municipalities.

The committee will engage with the National Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, and provincial departments of Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs, and Treasury. It will also engage with the Auditor General, South African Local Government Association and the Provincial House of Traditional Leaders.
