Parliament, Sunday, 6 October 2024 – Parliament’s Portfolio Committee on Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, under the leadership of committee Chairperson Dr Zweli Mkhize, is expected to meet with a Vietnamese delegation on Monday.
The Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in South Africa extended an invitation to the committee in light of a visit to the country by a delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).
H.E. Mr Nguyen Van Thanh, Vice Chairman of the CPV Central Theoretical Council, is leading the delegation on a visit from today (3 October) to 8 October. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations and exchanges in the fields of research and policy, including socio-economic development, political systems, and religious and traditional issues.
