National Council of Provinces Chamber, Parliament
Parliament, Tuesday 25 June 2019 – The National Council of Provinces will hold its first ordinary plenary sitting at 12.00 on Wednesday, 26 June.
The sitting is scheduled to elect the Chairperson for Committees, the Chairperson for Oversight and Institutional Support and the National Council of Provinces’ Programming Whip.
The sitting is also scheduled to adopt Rules of the National Council of Provinces.
First meetings of the National Council of Provinces’ 11 Select Committees are scheduled to meet on Wednesday morning to elect their chairpersons.
