Parliament, Tuesday, 3 March 2026 â€“ The National Assembly (NA) will hold a question-and-answer session with Ministers from the Peace and Security Cluster on Wednesday, 4 March, at 15:00.

The cluster comprises the Minister in the Presidency, the Minister of Correctional Services, the Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, the Minister of Home Affairs, the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, and the Minister of Police.

Parliament uses a range of instruments to scrutinise and oversee executive action. Section 92(2) of the Constitution also stipulates that Cabinet Members are accountable, collectively and individually, to Parliament for the exercise of their powers and performance of their functions.
