Parliament, Friday, 08 September 2023 - The National Assembly (NA) will convene a physical plenary session on Monday, 11 September at 2pm to consider and debate the report of the Committee for Section 194 Enquiry.

The Committee was established in accordance with NA Rule 129 and Section 194(1)(b) of the Constitution to investigate the fitness of Public Protector Adv Busisiwe Mkhwebane to hold office.

All journalists without parliamentary media access cards who wish to cover the sitting are requested to apply for accreditation. Photographers are also requested to apply for accreditation. Applications for accreditation must be sent before 12pm on Sunday, 10 September 2023 – no extension will be granted.
