Parliament, Monday, 9 June 2025 – The National Assembly (NA) and the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) will convene hybrid plenary sessions tomorrow, 10 June, at 14:00, to hold separate debates on Youth Day. The debates will be convened under the theme: “Advancing skills for the evolving world of work; empowering youth for economic transformation.”
During its sitting, the NA will also deliberate on the decision for a question on a draft resolution from the Chief Whip of the Official Opposition on “Censure for the Minister of Finance for mishandling of the National Budget process and the erosion of fiscal and parliamentary integrity”. The House will further deal with motions without notice and notices of motions.

In addition to the debate on Youth Day in the NCOP, Permanent Delegates will consider various committee reports and bills.
