Parliament, Monday 15 February 2021 – The National Assembly (NA) and the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) will hold joint sittings on Tuesday and Wednesday to debate the State of the Nation Address, which President Cyril Ramaphosa delivered to Parliament on 11 February. The President will reply to the debate at a joint sitting on Thursday.

The debate and President’s reply will take the form of hybrid sittings. In line with COVID-19 regulations, there will be a limited number of Members and media physically present in the NA Chamber and others will link up on a virtual platform.

COVERAGE THROUGH ONLINE PLATFORM

Journalists wishing to cover the sittings through a virtual platform must forward their cellphone numbers to Mlindi Mpindi on mmpindi@parliament.gov.za for inclusion in the Parliamentary Communication Services’ WhatsApp Group, where such information is shared. Media must forward these requests using their official email addresses (no private emails).

COVERAGE FROM NA CHAMBER
