Parliament, Thursday, 16 July 2026 – Members of the media are advised that the media briefing that was scheduled to take place following the high-level consultative engagement convened by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ms Thoko Didiza, on the implementation of the Kader Asmal Report, has been cancelled.
The consultative engagement with the heads of Institutions Supporting Democracy (ISDs), relevant Cabinet ministers and chairpersons of parliamentary committees will proceed as planned.
The engagement remains a closed session, and a media statement on the outcomes will be issued.
Parliament apologises for any inconvenience caused.
