• Only accredited media will be allowed entry to the Parliamentary precinct on 13 February 2014.

  • Accredited media will be restricted to designated areas. Meetings will be held to finalise arrangements and media are encouraged to attend these meetings.

  • Parliament's Safety Health & Environment (SHE)  Unit will make available a fact sheet about Parliament's health and safety requirements regarding temporary installations and structures in the Parliamentary precinct for distribution to media who request accreditation. The SHE Unit will ensure compliance with these requirements.

  • All temporary media installations and structures, in designated locations, must be complete and ready for inspection by Parliamentary officials at 16.00 on Wednesday, 12 February 2014.

  • Only accredited, essential vehicles will be allowed onto the Parliamentary premises on 13 February 2014.

  • Media information sheets will be available at media accreditation tables on 13 February 2014. These will also be posted, in advance, on Parliament's website and sent by email to all media on Parliament's distribution list.

  • Registration tags for members of the media who have been accredited may only be obtained on 13 February 2014 between 13.00 and 16.00.
