Parliament, Thursday, 30 April 2020 – The Standing and Select Committees on Finance, together with the Standing Committees on Public Accounts, and Appropriations, will this afternoon hold a joint virtual meeting to be briefed by the National Treasury on the fiscal implication of COVID-19, the impact of COVID-19 on the fiscal framework and appropriation, intervention by the government to save and stimulate the economy, and the implications of non-compliance with procurement laws and policies.
