Parliament, Wednesday, 19 June 2019 – Accredited media representatives who will cover the 2019 State of the Nation Address scheduled for tomorrow, 20 June 2019 are urged to collect their accreditation tags at No. 49 Hope Street (Government Garage), Cape Town – this accreditation point is located about 500 meters away from Parliament.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • The accreditation to open at 7:00am and will close strictly 2pm.
  • Media personnel should collect their accreditation in person and present their identification documents (identity document/passport) for the collection of accreditation tags and sign upon receipt of the tags.
  • Only accredited media, in possession of accreditation tags, will have access to the parliamentary precinct on Thursday, 20 June 2019.
  • Accredited media in possession of accreditation tags will enter Parliament through the Flame of Remembrance entrance, located at the corner of Plein and Roeland Street (just above the main Parliament’s visitors entrance).
  • A final briefing on SONA 2019 arrangements will take place at 13.00 at the Imbizo Centre (Ground Floor, 120 Plein Building, Parliament)
