Parliament, Tuesday, 19 March 2019 – The Acting Secretary to Parliament, Ms Baby Tyawa, today appeared before the Joint Standing Committee on the Financial Management of Parliament to brief the committee on Parliament’s performance in the first three quarters of the 2018/19 financial year.

The committee was happy with the Acting Secretary to Parliament’s presentation on the performance of Parliament in the specific quarters and the Co-Chairpersons of the committee told the committee that the presentation and other presentations are going to be part of the committee’s legacy report that is going to be handed over to the Sixth Parliament.

The Co-Chairpersons also briefed the committee on the matter of the disciplinary hearing on Secretary to Parliament Mr Gengenzi Mgidlana. They told the committee that the hearings are in progress.
