Parliament, Tuesday, 4 November 2025 – The Ad Hoc Committee to Investigate Allegations made by SAPS KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Head, Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, has concluded hearing evidence from Deputy Minister of Police, Dr Paulina Shela Boshielo today. It is scheduled to hear new evidence from the Acting Minister of Police, Prof Firoz Cachalia, tomorrow.

The Ad Hoc Committee commenced its hearings on 7 October 2025 and has received evidence from Kwazulu-Natal Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi; National Commissioner of South Africa, General Fannie Masemola; Deputy Police Commissioner, General Shadrack Sibiya; Minister Senzo Mchunu; Former Minister of Police, Bheki Cele; Deputy Minister of Police, Dr Paulina Shela Boshielo; and Mr Cassel Mathale.
