Parliament, Wednesday, 26 February 2020 – The Ad Hoc Committee to Initiate and Introduce Legislation Amending Section 25 of the Constitution will commence with public hearings on Friday, 28 February 2020.
The committee will travel in two groups. One group will visit the Free State and another will travel to Mpumalanga in order to obtain public views on the matter.
Written submissions on the Bill are still open for public comment and must be received by no later than 29 February 2020.
