Political Ideas / Achievements Goals & Ambitions for the country

I am an adherent to the basic principles of individual liberty and agency, personal responsibility and equal opportunity for all. My reason for political activism is to eradicate extreme poverty in South Africa, and to achieve a society where the circumstances of one’s birth does not define life chances.

My favourite politicians in SA politics are Helen Zille, Tony Leon, Helen Suzman, Nelson Mandela. Internationally, I admire Tony Blair, Bill Clinton, David Cameron, Margaret Thatcher

t is a great honour and privilege to serve as a Member of Parliament in South Africa, and it is a responsibility I take seriously.
