  • MMC Finance – As a member of mayoral committee (MMC Finance) I presided over a number of committees, caucus and portfolio meetings. 

  • Training - Developed mentorship programme for newly appointed officials

  • Leadership – Provided leadership for the finance department and regional working committee. Led the department as a facilitator, mentor and trainer and produced leaders at various levels within the organisation.

  • Management – Provided strategic leadership and management on issues pertaining governance, human resource, community involved and service delivery.

  • Corporate Governance – Served in a number of committees as a chairman and a member to ensure compliance in regulations as prescribed by policies.

  • Compliance – Set up strategy and programs for the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of PFMA in the entire Tshwane region.

  • Reporting – Successfully ensured that deadlines and targets are met to ensure efficient and effective operation of the council resolutions.
