JOB SUMMARY

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 2nd line mobile device support to Members of Parliament and Staff.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • 2nd Line maintenance and ongoing support on hardware
  • 2nd Line Maintenance and Application Software Support
  • Assist with 1st Line Customer Support
  • Mobile Device Training

TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Grade 12/ NQF Level 4 with a relevant NQF Level 6 Diploma in IT and A+/ MCSE
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience as a technician for mobile devices.

IN ADDITION, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DEMOSTRATE THE FOLLOWING SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS AND JOB-RELATED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Institutional Computing Infrastructure
  • IT Support experience and knowledge
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Advanced Computer literacy
  • Sound administrative skills
  • Sound interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to exercise discretion
  • Customer satisfaction oriented
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills in desktop environment
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework.
