The e-Condolence Book is opened for you to pay tribute to the late first Speaker of the democratic Parliament of the Republic of South Africa, Dr Frene Ginwala.

Dr Ginwala is honoured for her many sacrifices, activism and leadership in ensuring that South Africa becomes a democratic state. As the Speaker of the National Assembly from 1994 to 2004, we acknowledge her sterling leadership in steering our fledgling democracy.
