Have a Say: South African National Water Resources Infrastructure Agency SOC Limited Amendment Bill (B13-2025)

The Chairperson of the Select Committee on Cooperative Governance and Public Administration (Traditional Affairs, Water, Sanitation & Human Settlements), Hon TM Kaunda hereby invites members of the public, interested parties and stakeholders to make comments or inputs on the above-mentioned Bill.

The purpose of the Bill is: 

To amend the South African National Water Resources Infrastructure Agency SOC Limited Act, 2024, so as to provide for the listing of the Agency as a major public entity in Schedule 2 to the Public Finance Management Act; to provide for the delisting of the Trans-Caledon Tunnel Authority from Schedule 2 to the Public Finance Management Act; and to provide for matters connected therewith.

Interested individuals and groups wishing to comment are kindly requested to forward written submissions to the Committee by no later than 9 March 2026. Members of the public and stakeholders who wish to obtain copies of the legislation may contact the Government Printers nearer or the Committee Secretary on the contact numbers indicated below.
