Call for Submissions: Defence Amendment Bill and Military Discipline Supplementary Measures Amendment Bill
The Portfolio Committee on Defence and Military Veterans invites stakeholders and interested parties to submit written submissions on the following two Bills that were tabled in Parliament:
- Defence Amendment Bill [B32-2025]
- Military Discipline Supplementary Measures Amendment Bill [B31-2025]
The Defence Amendment Bill was introduced to provide for the exclusion of military judges and senior military judges from boards of inquiry. The Military Discipline Supplementary Measures Amendment Bill was introduced to provide for the establishment of the Military Judicial Advisory Committee and to provide for the assignment and removal of military judges and senior military judges.
